Polish-born Agnieszka Kurant (1978) lives and works in New York. A conceptual artist, her creations address the themes of collective intelligence, the exploitation of capitalism, work and creativity. In particular, Kurant examines how systems (economic, social or political) influence distinctions between concepts we commonly oppose (nature/culture, fiction/reality, life/non-life).
