STEFANO CONTIERO
Born in 1991, Stefano Contiero is a self-taught artist of Italian and Dominican descent. Torn by this pluralism of identities, the artist has long struggled to define himself. It was through art and his own creativity, however, that he succeeded. A true catharsis, Contiero, an introvert by nature, uses art to transcribe and reveal his emotions.
In an ever-changing society, he sees generative art as a way of "humanizing the machine and digitizing reality". Far from being irreconcilable, he strives to give an almost organic materiality to his digital artworks. An ode to life, love and the passing of time, his Essenza series offers us a delicate poetic experience. Stefano Contiero was named one of the top 20 NFT artists in 2021. Since 2022, he has devoted himself fully to his art.
