JONAS LUND
Born in Sweden in 1984, Jonas Lund is a conceptual artist whose various works - paintings, sculptures, photographs, websites and performances - take a critical look at contemporary power structures. In his artistic practice, the artist creates systems and parameters that often require a commitment on the part of the viewer. By engaging the viewer, these works resemble games in which tasks are performed according to algorithms or a set of rules.
Race Condition
In his Race Condition series, Jonas Lund offers us interactive works in which we are a sphere launched at high speed into an environment filled with shapes and colors. The aim of the game is simple: you accelerate and try to stay on the road. If you miss a jump or a bend, you'll crash!
